ZFS's double-parity RAID level. Any two drives in the array can fail without losing data — the cost is two drives' worth of capacity spent on parity. The sweet spot for home arrays of roughly 6–12 drives, where the odds of a second drive failing during a multi-hour rebuild are uncomfortably non-zero.
